These grips have a hard rubber end built into them to help prevent the bars pushing through the grips and ruining them if the bike is dropped.
They feature a harder rubber inner compound and end with a softer rubber compound on the outer grip surface for a more confortable feel for the rider.
They also feature slots in the grips for wiring the grips onto the handlebars.
